Underarm Sweat Solution

Morpheus RF micro-needling

    • Morpheus uses the heat and energy of radiofrequency to destroy sweat glands.

    • Reduced sweating is noted right away.

    • We clean the underarm and perform local anesthesia using a series of injections into the area to be treated.  Numbing this way is very important and a vital step to ensure patient comfort.

    • If needed we also have the Zimmer chiller which can blow cold air over the skin for additional comfort.

    • The entire procedure takes 1 hour.

    • Your underarm will be red and slightly swollen for several days.

    • There will be mild soreness and some bruising that goes away in 4-5 days.

    • Tylenol or ibuprofen may be taken for pain. You might also consider icing for 5 minutes per underarm every hour for the first few hours after you get home.

    • For maximal sweat reduction we suggest up to 3 treatments (one or more months apart). There is no maintenance after that, as the sweat glands will not return. They are permanently destroyed.  We have been very pleased with the results obtained.

    • Prior to your visit you will need to shave all of your underarm hairs.

    • Hair follicles are not destroyed by Morpheus, so your hair will regrow.

    • Arrive well hydrated for the best results.

    • The cost for a single Morpheus treatment for Axillary Hyperhidrosis is $1,500.

Toxins

    • Either Botox, Dysport or Jeuveau is injected using small needles for minimal discomfort and the treatment is completed in less than 15 minutes.

    • Toxin injections are highly effective for reduction of sweating and the benefit lasts an average of 6 months.

    • The area is mildly red and swollen for a few minutes.

    • Benefit is seen within a few days, but is temporary and repeat treatments are needed over time.
